Banner ad - Sardine Diet?

I've seen that pop up from time to time...

I've no idea of the premise behind the diet but sardines are high in omega-3’s, contain virtually no mercury and have lots of calcium. They also contain iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, copper and manganese as well as a full complement of B vitamins

If you can stand the taste, they're a good for you food...

They're not bad if you mix them into a really spicy tomato sauce on pasta...

It was more of a joke lol. But i take fish oil and will occasionally have a sardine sandwich or put sardines on my pizza (which I make with wheat crust, tons of veggies and turkey pepperoni (which has like half the fat and half the calories of regular pepperoni).

I'll leave the wife comment out of this topic :drool5:

Sardines?! Like those little minnows. You eat them whole?? Don't they have bones... Can you feel the eyeballs when you crunch them? UGH!!

Ewwww!! Don't they cut the heads off first tho?

I can't eat sardines, I don't like fish and the idea of eating those things creep me out!! That's a good point, arn't there bones in them???

I guess by saying "you always see those pizza places putting them on" I really mean I've only seen it a couple times on tv. :p

Wth, nauh. I've seen it on food network. :D

What is with all this canned seafood you are speaking of? The only thing I've ever had is tuna. lmao. Where do you even buy canned octupus and oysters, etc. I actually want to try sardines n stuff now.
