it's Thanksgiving... it's Christmas... it's New Year's Day, ... i think i deserve a little treat.
but i know how that used to go. after i finish it off, i look at the back of the empty bag and see, "Servings per Container 3.5" ... *sigh*. so this time i decided to do a bit more work and snack smartly.
i picked out some dark chocolate covered espresso and raspberry almonds & some sesame sticks. 3.5 + 3.5 + 5 servings; <5gm sugar/serving (combined total). i could do better than that so i laid out a 3 x 5 grid of baggies and started doling out the goodies. a bit anal?... ok, maybe so, but it took a few minutes at the most (no snacking allowed! ... i''d only be cheating myself). i merely eyeballed the stix and there is was, 15 days of goodies even better as a mixture. i didn't even bother to calculate the kcals, but at a glance, it wasn't ridiculous and now even less with the expansion.
taking my poor memory into account i also stored them out of sight, and believe me, i'm so bad that often works!
i hope i can save a bag for 2019!
cheers...gary
