Hi I am delighted to find this site.
After seeing a recent photo of myself I went into shock realizing how the weight has crept on again. I am 5 foot exactly and I weigh 11 stone and 9 lbs. Because I am small it shows and can be hard to hide. I bought jeans last week in a size 14 and I was bursting out of them and could not close the zip or do the button and after pigging out all over christmas it is time for me to start the new year and today went well with diet.
About 5 years ago when I was a similar weight to now I went on a low fat diet and did plenty of exercise mainly walking and then running and it worked, within 3 months I was a size ten and felt great going on holiday. I was very strict with diet and I didn't lapse once in the three months and kept weight off for over a year. I am determined this time to get back in shape again. I turned 38 this week so I feel like time is running out to feel good again.

Great to find this site will keep you posted on how I get on.

Hi D3bblicious
I am as obsessed this time as I was the last time so I hope that is a good sign.
All I think about is diet and what exercise I can do.

The reason why I think it worked the last time was because I had the time to diet. It was at a time when I was not working and when the kids were in school I could go running or walking. When I returned to work I found it hard to find time to exercise and also I had other things on my mind like getting to work on time and getting the kids to school running the house and getting meals on the table. Dinners were rushed and thrown on the table so I could sit down. I was driving to work and sitting all day.Within a couple of months of working I put the weight back on without realizing it.
I am now out of work again and I now have the time physically and mentally to lose the weight. I am determined and I will be able to stick to it.
I think that if you want to lose weight you need to make the time for yourself. It takes up a lot of your time so you have to be willing to do that.
Not just for a couple of days but to keep it up. I dont know if this will be any help to you as I know you are younger but I really think it has to do with time management, routine and how you plan your day.
Keep up the good work
