Back Spasms...

I searched, but couldn't find anything.

Anyway, I have always had a pretty messed up body. I mean, it's messed up looking because I have a pudgy turtle body, but I'm talking about messed up as in "injured".

I've screwed up my neck playing football, my knees, ankles and achilles tendons playing baseball and I'm just an overall mess of a person.

I frequently get back spasms. Sometimes are worse than others, but I honestly get back spasms almost every single day. Every doctor that I've talked to just tells me to drink more water and stretch. Well, that doesn't work. I drink a lot of water and I stretch every day, but it doesn't help stop my spasms.

Does anybody have this same problem? If so, what do you do in order to stop them? You know, like "home remedies".

I don't get spasms, but I have had other muscle issues that I've been looking into.

Have you ever gone to a physiotherapist rather than a doctor?

I've heard good thing as well about although I haven't tried it myself. It has a that explains what it's supposed to do.

This is a link (Thanks Steve!) to - some techniques that you can use yourself with foam rollers and tennis balls at home. I've been doing this, but I've been coupling it with actual physical therapy, so I can't say 100% it's the reason I've been doing better, but I do think it's part of it.

Hope this helps!

Active Release Technique? I already do that. Like, once a week. Wait...we're talking about a different kind of "release", aren't we?

Cool, thanks for the links. I'm going to check them out. I'm just tired of having spasms all the time. It feels like I'm getting Punk'd.
