I am sorry to hear that things have been going so badly for you. We would all comfort eat in such circumstances and 11 pounds in a month is par for the course. We have all been there and done that.
I am pleased that you are getting it together and have weighed yourself and come back to the forum. If you can just manage to take control - I am sure that you realise that those pounds will drop off very quickly. I know for a fact that The Krinse put on something like that over indulgences at Christmas (a much pleasanter reason for weight gain) - and managed to take it all off by mid January. Acting quickly really can not only stop more weight going on but get it really quickly back off again. It would be such a shame to lose those hard won losses of the past year - like I have done so many times over the past 20 years.
Thanks for your congratulations. I must admit - I was delighted when I managed to get down to 10 and a half stone just before my op. It was so great to get down to half my start weight. I can assure you that 10 and a half stone is a much nicer place than 21 stone.
You have made great progress over the past year. Celebrate that fact. We all think that we can do things quicker than we physically can. A year ago - I hoped that by now I would be at the stage where I could get into my wedding ring. I still cannot - but I know that I am so much nearer to goal that it is silly. If I hadnt slimmed down - I hate to think how much worse last week's op could have gone. It is scary.
Being able to walk for miles is a great achievement for us both. I honestly feel that it is the route to our future good health and weight loss success. A walk also diverts me from wanting to eat which is a benefit in itself.
Try and get out for a regular walk - and I am sure that the rest of it will come together.
Take care
