Hi, Welcome to my diary!

Summer is coming up (in Australia anyway), and well... I want to look hot. I also want to be fit and toned and be able to run 5km without stopping!

Starting Weight: 62kg
Current Weight: 57.5kg
Goal Weight: 54kg
Height: 168cm

Main Problem Areas: Ankles, Tummy, Upper Arms, calfs
Waist Measurement: TBA
Hip Measurement: TBA
Chest Measurement:TBA

So im just going to record my food for the day...

And how Im feeling and stuff. I have to get motivated again! Im about halfway to my goal weight!
 
Tuesday 30 October 2007 - 11:15am

Breakfast: 2 Pikelets with Maple Syrup (yes i admit not the best breakfast!) Cal: 160
Coffee: Cal: 30
Lunch: 2 Slices Wholemeal Bread, 1 Slice Cheese, Sweet Chilli Tuna - Cal: 300
Dinner: 2 Rice + Cheese Balls, 2 mini salmon wraps, 1 serving sheperds pie

So yeah, I could probably eat more today. I will have to have something to eat after my work dinner. I usually eat WAY more than this.

Exercise: 20 Minute Walk

I have to go down to town in my lunch break to find something to wear tonight! Argh, stressing!

UPDATE:

FINALLY found something to wear! I bought a Sportsgirl dress, cardi from target and silver flats from betts. ahhhhhhh...

Although I should stop spending money! Getting paid per month is hard.

Lunch was very good... a toasted sandwich always makes me feel full!
 
Wednesday 31 October - Haloweeeeeeen

Breakfast: 2 Weetbix with Milk + 1 Piece Toast w/ peanut butter
Lunch: Toasted Cheese & Tuna Sandwich
Dinner: TBA

Exercise: 30 Minute Run + Resistance Training

I was supposed to have reached my goal weight by today :(
But I think Christmas is a very reasonable time to reach my goal weight.

8 Weeks: 3.5kg To Lose
So I need to lose 0.5kg per week until then

Totally doable! Just have to stick to my exercise and diet!

Weigh in Today!
Weight: 57.0kg

A loss of 0.5kg! Wooooo!

I am doing the November 2lb a week challenge, but because I only have 3kg to lose I am just going to focus on losing 1lb a week.

Todays Food

Breakfast:
1 Mexicana Pizza Roll (was on the run lol!)

Lunch:
Standard Caramel Crunch from Hudsons Coffee
(yes bad decision AGAIN but seriously didnt have time for lunch at work today)

Dinner:
Ravioli with Cabornara sauce (ARGHHHHHH!!!)
1/2 A Cup-Cake

I had a coffee after breakfast (150kj)...

Exercise:
Running around work like a headless chook!
20 Minute Walk to and From Work

My Ultimate Goals:
Feel confident at the beach in a bikini
Fit into size 8 jeans (currently a 10)
54kg :)
Be happy with how I look
Be more confident with clients
Be comfortable in what I am wearing
Feel good around my boyfriend
Stop comparing myself with others
Have lean, toned muscles
Have strength
Be able to run 5km comfortably
Complete the Point to Pinnacle!
Ankles to be slimmer

20 Minute Walk to and From Work
30-60 Minute Jog

Had an OK day yesterday, although I wish I could have had lunch, and a not so fatty dinner! Dinner was 600 calories!! Arghhhhh!

I cant wait to go for my run tonight, I LOVE running... im going to try and run 10 laps of the oval (3.0km) and to and from the park (1.5km). Then walk for a little bit.

EXERCISE PLAN FOR NEXT WEEK:
  • Walk to and from work 3 days
  • 4 x 30-60 Minute Runs
  • 3 x Resistance Training at Gym

FOOD PLAN
Eat three times a day
One snack
One coffee or tea every morning
No binges!

Sultana Brand with Milk, OJ

Lunch:
2 Minute Noodles
Ice Cream with Ice Magic

Dinner:
Toasted Cheese and Ham Sandwich
Ice Cream Cone

Snacks:
3 Mini Peppers with Fetta Cheese
4 Pieces Licorice

And did absolutly NO exercise :(
I suck.

I'll just have to do better tomorrow. I probably didnt go over maintenance calories (dinner wasnt that big, breakfast wasnt big), it was just the snacks that hit me hard :(

Im going to Take a picture at every kg lost. I will take one tonight for 57kg.

10:30am - 30 Minutes Treadmill
11:30am - 1 Egg Omelete (with cheese, ham & tomato) with 1/2 an english muffin
2:00pm - Medium McNugget meal with diet coke :(
Dinner - TBA

I did OK today.

I haven't been able to do intensive exercise lately, I have been getting really bad shortness of breath - like I cant get enough air in. And its really starting to affect my exercise. I went and got some lung tests done and they came back normal, I might make another appointment because its affecting day to day things.

I LOVE omellets! They are probably my favourite breakfast food. I dont like egg white omelets though, I have a problem with throwing food away. But I only use 1 egg, a bit of cheese, maybe ham, and 1/2 a tomato.

And the mcnugget meal, yes I could have done better, but im not going to beat myself up over it.

Im going over to my boyfriends house tonight, he's a health freak so at least i'll get a healthy dinner! Im going to pop into a few diaries now bye! :willy_nilly:
 
Hi Austin.

Are you seriously calling your ankles kankles? Even I don't have kankles! :p Your ankles look fine.

I think you're doing a great job so far. You're noticing what you have to improve on and you're admitting it. As for the exercise thing, you'll probably get stronger the more exercise you do, and your lungs will get stronger as you get stronger.

The lung thing has just happened recently, a couple of weeks ago. Before that I was very fit, and doing hard exercise every day. But im going to see my doctor so hopefully i can get it sorted out.

Didnt do so well last night lol, I had a few bites of omelete and then a McFlurry lol. ARhhhHH!!!

Mcflurries are killers. I would avoid McDonalds at all costs! Those, french fries, and chicken mcnuggets lure me in! Ahh!

I think your legs look way skinny already! You look like a cross country runner to me!

McDonalds is evil. and now cause I have my license I can go whenever I want :(

And the stupid boyfriend is always like "I WANNA SUNDAE!". He could eat a gazillion sundaes and never get fat!

I dont really have a problem with my legs, just my cankles lol, and i'd love bigger calf muscles.

One of my best friend has cankles. She has come to accept them, so I can say this without feeling bad, but hers are like monsters compared to yours. I can't even tell that you have them!

a girl on my soccer team is like your boyfriend. Her diet consists of bread and macaroni and cheese, and she has the best figure of anyone I know! grrr!

Soccer has done good things for my calves. I think my legs are my best quality actually, but my stomach and my hips are a cooompletely different story!

Exercise: 40 Minute Walk

By the way, I consulted my doctor before losing weight, and we came up with a plan for me getting to my goal weight. Thats why I don't count calories, Ive had a lot of issues with food and weight in the past, counting calories is risky for me because I could fall into old ways and obsess over food too much. When I count calories I just think about food ALLLL the time, and get really hungry. I just try to make good food choices and have small portions.

And exercise!

Which I should really get back into once my breathing is going alright again. I used to do SOOOO much :(

Im currently saving up for a deposit on a house, but I dont want to move out for another 4 years or so. I've saved up $5,000 so far! Im pretty proud of that :D

I get my annual leave in February (hottest part of summer, 2 weeks, road tripping up the east coast of Tasmania with the boyfriend, taking our bikes, going to gorgeous beaches, kayaking, staying in cabins and camping, gonna be so much fun!)

I hate getting burnt! Fake tan all the way! I dont wanna get skin cancer.

I have a puppy and two cats (who hate eachother!). When I grow up I want a brown fluffy dog!

Work Update!!!

I said previously that I work in Advertising, well ive been working as an assistant for 8 months now, and I have gotten my own client! I work in the media department (planning and buying media). This is a GIANT step towards becoming a Media Planner/Buyer. Usually you have to have qualifications to do this kinda thing, but I got the job straight after finishing school. I plan to go and do my diploma in Marketing though.

So yeah celebrations! :party:

I have already done some stuff for them, all press stuff. But I had to plan out the budget, negotiate rates, did some research on what day of the week the paper is most effective - probably sounds boring haha!

At the moment I wear kinda casual stuff to work. Dress pants with a shirt, or jeans and a cardigan, a work dress, that kinda thing. But I want to dress more business like - those kinda people get promotions! So I went and laybuyed a pant suit! I got it from portmans, and its black with pinstripes. A really nice suit jacket and tailored pants. And i got them in an Australian Size 6 (US2) for the jacket and a Australian size 8 (US4) in pants! That was so awesome!

I cant get them off until I get paid. And the pants are a little tight! Hopefully by the 15 November they will feel a bit more comfy! Im also going to buy a few more business type clothes..

So wooooo! Now I really should get back to work :nopity:
