august 10 pound club

I'm down 2 pounds as of this morning. Amazing seeing as how I didn't try as hard as I should have. If I step it up a little, I should be able to hit 10 pounds by month end :)

What the? I'm only down 1.0 pounds... That's awful!

I didn't do anything differently. Odd.

tuesday weigh in.. 141.. wow im down 5 lbs. from last week 146!!!!.. i dont know how much of that is water weight or whatever but im still happy haha:)

Way to go everyone!!! WHoohooooo!!!!

I stepped on the scale first thing this morning and I couldnt believe it.. I was at 141. It must be water loss from starting my diet, is the only thing I can figure. Will be interesting to see what next week is, will probably go back up :(

:D Way to go everyone. A lb is a lb, it's better than maintaining and hell of a lot better than gaining lb! One lb at a time and you'll still reach that goal!

weighed in today and I'm 202... I can't want to see my weight begin with a 1 instead of that dreaded 2 lol

Amen to that! I finally will definately feel like I have accomplished something

Way to go Mike.

They have a bike challenge at the gym i go to and I have been thinking about going on it. Im just a bit chicken because I dont think I will do very well.
Basicly they have a DVD playing with some dude biking around a track (animated thing) and as he goes over different surfaces and areas it says 'Level 8' or something and you put your exercycle on that and peddle as fast and hard as you can. They write down at the end how many km you have done and it goes on a list. They judge it at the end of the week and winners get some sort of prize i think.

Anyway I really want to do it but i dont think i will get very far - it has 10km as the lowest amount of km and it takes me about 30 mins to do that many at least hehee.

well i found out about it a bit more today - its 20 minutes long. I normally do about 6km in 20 mins lol. Dunno if i could do 10 :O

Ill give it a go next week on monday :D

wishes,

don't be scared... you gotta start somewhere. Consider it an extra motivator to do well the next time.... I didn't start out perfect doing my 45 km rides, it took a lot of time, and I still have a lot of room to improve. Just have fun with it, enjoy the workout!
