august 10 pound club

I just joined yesterday and found this challenge this moment. Even though it is August 5th, I want in!!!!!!!!!

My official diet started today.

CW is 145 lbs.

This is going to be soooooo much fun.... WHooohooooooooOOOooooo!!! Excited!

I weigh every day (the weight fluctuations don't bother me and it keeps me on track and focused), but I only move my ticker on Saturdays - except for last week when I was moving my ticker so much because I was coming off a sodium retention, TOM related bloat ;)
 
i'm in for only weighing tuesdays - stops me getting derpressed if i dont see results every day !
Hoping for some good result this month - especially since upping the exercise.
and hey to all the late comers !

I don't even have a scale in my house...I only get weighed on Tuesdays at Weight Watchers. Wouldn't really have it another way.
 
I find I weight less in the morning so I prefer to weight then. I think its to do with being dehydrated as you sweat during the night. Also the food you have eaten during the day has been digested so you weigh less. I dont really know what is accurate though - I just choose the morning as the lighter weight makes me feel better
 
I know it's late but can I join in too??:) My weight is a hefty 185lbs so what do I do lose 10lbs by the end of AUG?? Is it Tuesdays for weigh in??
 
Catesweight - the more the merrier, tuesday is the weigh-in day! I am losing weight by cutting my calories to 1200 a day and trying my best to exercise 3 hours a week.
 
Wow! 3 hours a day and 1200 calories! That's a strict regime! I can try to stick to 20 weight watchers points a day, and increase my exercise. I hope I can meet the challenge!:)

I wish :)! 3 hours a week exercise for me. 30 mins each day is what I am aiming for.
 
For some reason again ive read the scales wrong. I need to go to the gym later in the week or get glasses.

Lost since last tuesday
Last tuesday i was 276.7lb - today im 271.2lb
Thats 5.5lb this week
 
I'm down 2.5 lbs. I hope to step it up with exercise and loose 4lbs a week. I know that sounds like a lot but for me, I can loose 3lbs by just cutting calories so that extra lb could come from my walking.
 
Weigh-in this morning - lost 1.4 pounds so far in August Club. Really pleased but at this rate I don't think i'll make the 10 pound mark. Must keep trying hard. Think I may keep with my calories intake and try and up the exercise like Miss_Kalie.
