Attention folks from the UK!!

Got a question for all of you. I have a group of Brits that are here in the USA on business working out at my gym this week. There are 8 guys. 6 of them are very fit, one is of above average fitness and only one has a beer belly. That is a crazy ratio of fit versus non fit people in comparison to what I see every day here in the US.
Would this group of guys be a good representation of the fitness level in the UK as a whole, or is it just a strange coincedence that so many guys that work for the same organization are in good shape. I should have just asked them, but I know how much I hate being interrupted in the middle of a workout.

Thanks

That's actually really unusual to see that many fit brits in one place to be honest. No, it's not a good representation of what fitness is like in the UK. In fact, there are so many unrealistically fit people in england its unreal. For instance, i'm the only one in my family who does any excercise at all. At college, I spent 6 weeks looking for someone who was willing to train with me 3 times a week. No one seems that interested over here. When i'm at work on weekends, I rarely see a physically fit person come through the door of the shop. It's stupid so many people care so little about their health really.

To be honest, from what I see in England here, is that most people my age only train as a sort of fad.
"Oh Summer's coming! So I think I'll go to the gym 2 or 3 times in the next 2 months but just end up messing about".
