arms

i read a few times that if your trying to gain weight and size you shouldnt do any direct arm work? ive been working out for almost 2 years and gained a good 20 lbs of pure muscle but my arms are still pretty small compared to the rest of my body. i always use to train them once a week with 2 exericses and 3 sets each..should i stop training them directly for a few months? oh and i doubt it has to do with my diet because im gaining weight and getting bigger its just that my arms wont grow..

um i dont think so unless u want flabby arms... try more reps with less resistance

Go for it, see how it goes. I don't do very much direct arm work (My arms have grown nicely the last 6months) but i do lots of benching, overhead presses chinups and rows.

I had this problem.
I started doing arms on a seperate day. 2 exersises for bi and 2 for tris.
working 10sets of three reps with heavy weight

Just work them in with your normal program--a couple or few sets twice a week will be fine. Make sure you have plenty of chins, rowing, overhead pressing, and some dips or benching and they'll grow.
