Are Soft Drinks And Colas That Hurtful To My Workout Program

I WORKOUT AND HAVE THE BASIS FOR A GOOD PHYSIQUE BUT I CAN'T SEEM TO GET OVER THAT HUMP OF DEFINITION.
COULD THE COLA BE THE CULPRIT?
I WANT THE REAL DEAL.

The real deal is the Diet, and ITS the ultimate fat burner and definition bringer.

Whats the circumference of your diet like. Are you weight training or have another exercise routine?

Water is always the better choice in a given type situation. But, once in a while, a diet cola or non cola, will not hurt you. Mainly its the refined sugar in reg cola's you need to shy away from and in other foods as well. I mean shy away from refined sugar like it has a disease. One should consider just abstaining from cola, but once in a while a diet soda will NOT hurt your progress. I am a living example. While I dont go out of my way to consume this overall bad beverage, I will have one like once or twice a month (diet type).
You do not have to totally ditch the item, but do limit its consumption.

Give info on diet and training in order provide more specifics for you.

since you have heard from a real diet person, how about i throw in a challenge and some experience.

Quick drinking soda for 2 weeks, and then have a coke.

then you tell us if it is bad for you or not.

it is terrible for you, you can feel it in your mouth, throat and belly.

ditch it!

Excellent post FF. You're right. I never drink sodas, until I was at a party sometime ago and I drank a soda. OMG - Utter nastiness, and my stomach was NOT a happy camper. Ditch the soda.

I for one can mentally pitch anything in the diet that is bad no matter what that item is (even if its food I absolutely love).

One testament of will is to pitch items you like (that are unhealthy) and abstain from it, to earn your goal. And, not everyone can fall in this category. The trick is to not allow your body to tell you when (on bad food), but your mind to say when its okay.

Im in my diet 95% of the time in the course of a year, the 5% that I allow a so-called cheat time, is so small, that it cant possibly effect the 95% that is correct. If you completely understand this anology.

For most, but not all, pitching cola isnt that hard. But what about the other good stuff that has a label of unhealthy............oh!...the sting of reality......this isnt different story now isnt it?

As a joke: Dont be crunching on a candy bar, and telling this dude to pitch the cola.............as an example.

How much Coke are we talking about here? I drink the occasional full fat coke and I don't think it's a big problem but if you're drinking it every day then you might be suffering ill effects. If you want to cut it out then don't bother with the skinny Coke because that tastes disgusting, just try drinking water.

Also, don't make Coke the scapegoat, chances are there are lots of things about your diet that could change, look at everything you consume in a day and then try and find healthier alternatives.
