Are my diet and exercise routine good?

I'm a guy, 17 years old and I want to go from 80 kilograms to 72 in the next 3 months.

I am thinking of jumping the rope and workout 30 minutes in the morning (before eating) then have a cup of cereals (about 500 calories) . I would eat again only a soup and 1 fruit at 2-4pm(that would be 1000 calories so far), then jump the rope and workout 30 minutes again. At 6-7pm I would eat again a fruit and a yogurt.

So that's about 1200 calories/day combined with 1h of rope jumping and workout (squats, push-ups and crunches).

Is this going to be effective considering I want to get rid of those 8 kilograms in 3 months?

Also, what do you think is the best way to to my workout?
As I said, I'm going to do 2 reps of 30 minutes of rope jumping and workout everyday.
Should every rep consist of 25 minutes of rope jumping and 5 minutes of workout exercises or should I combine them like this: 5 minutes of rope jumping, 2 minutes of workout, 5 mins rope, 2 mins workout and so on until it reaches 30 minutes?

Firstly, I think your routine as you’ve set it out is going to bore you senseless after only a week or two. This is probably no bad thing, since your diet is also boring as hell, contains too few calories, and is likely to make you depressed and too lethargic to complete your workouts with enough gusto for them to be effective. Rethink your routine to include things that you enjoy, it doesn’t matter if it’s not so extreme, if it keeps you interested you’ll be more likely to stick with it. Food wise lay off the dry, processed cereals. Add more variety including fruit, vegetables, seeds, and nuts. Learn to “graze” eating a little and often. Making sure you are eating enough to give your muscles the fuel they need for your workouts.

You're eating way to little - especially for someone who works out twice a day. You should have a bit of food before your first workout so you have energy to do a good workout - a piece of fruit and maybe some yogurt. Better yet have a whey protein shake about 1/2 an hour before your workout. Right after your workout have another shake and within 2 hours have a healthy meal that has a healthy carb (ie oatmeal or fruit or a vegetable), a healthy protein (ie a couple of egg whites in that oatmeal) and a healthy fat (ie a tsp of flax seed oil mixed in the oatmeal).

Be sure to eat every 2-4 hours to keep your metabolism running, your blood sugar in check and your energy up so you can do your second workout. Also make sure to drink up to 3 litres of water/day.

If you continue to starve yourself and workout twice a day your body will respond by slowing down your metabolism which will cause your body to store any and all calories as fat. You will also start losing muscle - your body will actually start breaking down your muscle in attempt to protect itself from the starvation you're inflicting on it. Less muscle=slower metabolism=weight gain which will get harder and harder to lose as you get older.

Try adding some weight training to your fitness regime - don't be afraid to go heavy. You should be able to lift the weight for about 8-10 reps with good form feeling like the last 2-3 reps are really challenging. Don't work out every single day. You need a rest day to allow your body to repair itself and build muscle which helps you lose fat. You also need to get quality sleep (7-9 hours preferably). When you get quality sleep your body releases human growth hormone which helps to repair muscles. Human growth hormone is a powerful fat burner.

Don't worry so much about how many calories you're taking in. Be more concerned about the quality of the food you're eating. Everything should be natural - no pre-packaged convenience foods that man made. If man made it, don't eat it! Go for whole grains (about 2 servings per day), fruits (2-4 servings per day), veggies (pretty much as much as you like) and healthy sources of protein (4-6 servings per day - you should be eating 4-6 times per day and each mini meal should have protein to help you build lean mass). Don't forget the healthy fats - your body won't operate properly without those. Go for olive oil, avocado, nuts, seeds, flax seed oil, hemp seed oil........

Good luck to you! Remember you should feel good and strong, not exhausted and weak.
