Are Immediate Implants Suitable for Everyone?

Has anyone considered immediate implants after having a tooth removed? I’ve been reading about this treatment option and understand that, in suitable cases, a dental implant may be placed soon after extraction. One potential benefit is that it can reduce the time between tooth removal and implant placement.

However, I’m curious about how dentists determine whether someone is a suitable candidate. Factors such as the condition of the jawbone, gum health, infection, and the location of the missing tooth may all affect treatment planning.

For anyone who has had immediate implants, how was your experience with the procedure and recovery? Did your dentist recommend any additional treatment before placement? I’d be interested to hear experiences and advice from others who have explored this option in the UK.
