Apparently I've lost weight?

I stated my starting weight was 260 because that's what I thought it was based on when I last weighed myself, like, months ago. Today I weighed myself halfway through week 4 of my weight loss and I'm 255 pounds. AFAIK I might have been lighter to start, or heavier to start, so all in all I actually don't know if I've lost anything at all, since this is my first actual weigh in, with nothing to compare to

I'm going to say I was maybe around 260 based on my last weigh in months previous, and if so, is 5 lbs in less than a month good?

I don't feel any different at all, literally, I feel good after a workout but thats it. I don't feel different or look different imo. I know I discussed this in another forum but I honestly don't think I'm doing it right

Where does the deficit come from if I keep my calories to 1800 a day and exercise 6 days a week? I eat healthy with no more junk. If my BMR is 2400, so I lose like 600 a day from diet, and X from exercise, where does the deficit factor in?
