Anyone watching Biggest Loser?

I loved it that Lance didn't think of Coli when he was eating all those cupcakes and still lost!! The look on his wife face was priceless! I could tell they were both thinking - just one more cupcake!

I know! Considering Lance ate something like 1700 calories :O worth of calories, and gave same like 3-4, I figured he would have at LEAST given 1 to Koli.

But im okay with Koli winning :D

Its getting to that point where I'm starting to like everyone left on that show. I still can't believe Sam pulled a 14 pound loss. Thats just crazy to me. He has now accomplished more in 10 weeks than what took me 9 months :O

Sam was looking so good last night! His muscle's are really starting to show! I can't wait till they start showing the first weigh-in pic beside the current one - I love to see the difference side by side.
I can't wait for the make over episode either!! So anxious!! I can't wait till they cut Daris's hair!
I totally think that Stephanie was on her time of the month last week and that's why she lost so much this week! I was so proud of her!

@ Lance

NA NA NA NA

NA NA NA NA

HEY HEY HEY

GOODBYE

Seriously, that cupcake fiasco made me not like red team all over again.

LOL! Yeah, I'm with you there! I was so, so glad to see Lance go. I've never liked him and when Melissa got voted off, I thought "ok, now Lance next!" He was such a jerk about that whole cupcake thing. Him and Michael both. I know Michael has a long way to go and he's still really overweight, but I hope he's off next. He's such a game player, doesn't even pretend to think of anyone else. It drives me up a wall.

I was so proud of the black team this week! Especially since it was home week. And Stephanie really rocked it. I felt so bad for her last week, so I'm glad she did good this week. I felt bad for Daris this week, but I think he partied a bit while at home. I was glad he didn't get voted off because of it though, I was worried about that.

I was super excited that Koli won the Challenge too. I was worried for a bit that Lance would get it, I couldn't remember if Michael ate a cupcake for Koli or not. Then my TV station decided that a weekly emergancy test was nessassary smack in the middle of talying up the cupcake times. It came back just in time for me to hear "Koli, if no one ate a cupcake for you, you'll win. If someone did, Lance will." (or something like that)

Sounds great can i watch it in the uk? I will google it to check it out...thanks

If you go to the NBC web site, you can watch episodes online. Keep in mind that they are one week behind, so you won't be able to watch yesterday's show until next Tuesday or Wednesday. But they have the whole season, so you can go back and watch from the beginning.

The hypocrisy on this show. Enough to leave a bad taste in one's mouth. UGH. I think tonight I've totally flipped who I am rooting on now. Started off with my main man, John. Thought he would get his second shot to make a difference, but that got shut down. That new girl (blue team) seems nice......but I don't know much about her, so its hard to suddenly hope for her.

Then all the sudden Melissa gets added. FANtastic.

Never really liked Mike. He's "lucky" he weighs as much as he does, because it seems easy for him to put up monster numbers every week and stay out of the yellow zone.

Koli seemed unbelievably insensitive, was kind of shocked that he started perpetrating all these rumors. He talks about hating shady stuff. Riiiggght.

Daris seems especially nuetral to any decision. I guess I'm pushing for him, only because he reminds me of myself SO much. Bro needs a haircut in the worst way though.

O'neil and Sunshine still seem incredibly marginal to me, I can't find much gusto to root for either of them STILL, and there aren't even that many episodes left!

Ashley and Drea, well, karma has a way of doing a 180. Good luck with that.

Sam is still a champ. He had a tough week, I suppose with who's left, I'm pushing for him even though it looks like he doesn't physically have much more to lose LOL.

Now my main girl Steph is gone :( I didn't think she was playing the game, but it seems like everyone else was. The only consolation was seeing how far she had come in her sneak peak back at home. So, I suppose you can find good in bad. Good for her.

Ugg, I hear you. This week's show was awful in the worst way. I was pretty happy with the Blue girl getting on. I did feel awful for her and her mom both times they've been sent home. Most people only have to go home once and they get at least a week at the ranch. Although if it had been up to me, I would have had Orange mom come back. I love her.

But then!!! Melissa? GAH, we just got rid of the red team and I hate her worse than Lance. Did you see the smug look on her face the whole time? Even at the very beginning when at the weigh in, she thought she had it. I was thinking "There's no way on God's green earth that anyone there is going to vote for you!" Dear lord, does she not realize how hate-able she is?

During the step challenge I was actually rooting for Miggy. I don't like her either, but she was the only one who was even close to beating Melissa. And now we have to watch her for the next two weeks! Ick!

And I'm VERY disappointed in Koli. I liked him (and Sam) from the beginning, but what's with the spreading rumors crap? Well, "do something shady once and that's who you are to me." Yeah, exactly, look in a mirror sometime. Anyone can have a bad week, but sneaking around and turning people against them is just dirty.

And let's look at this logically. Stephanie didn't have immunity that week she pulled a 2. So why would she throw the weigh in? She'd stand a larger then average risk of getting voted off. And what was with Ashley? Let's say that Stephanie did throw the weigh in. Ashley's mom would still have been below the yellow line and still would have been at risk of being voted off. So why be mad at her either way? It wouldn't have saved her mom. Unless, of course, she lost enough for the Black team to win, but if I remember right, it wasn't even close that week.

I don't think she was playing the game either. I think two weeks ago she just had an off week and this week it was stress. I mean, finding out the whole house is talking about you behind your back and making accusations would put anyone off. I know I'd be horribly hurt.

O'Neil is getting on my nerves too. He seems to think every time he gets a chance to talk he needs to give this long, "inspirational" speech. Ok enough, be quiet and let's move this along.

Daris is still my man though. But Mike needs to be off the show next week and Melissa off as soon as she doesn't have immunity anymore.

My wife and I have watched TBL for going on three years now.

I will have to agree with you all, I am very disappointed in Koli now. At least Sam hasn't gotten the same attitude.

As far as Melissa getting back to the ranch. I cant stand her either, BUT...she does really stir up the pot and will inject some needed excitement back into the few remaining weeks left.

I don't much like Mike either, My wife has rooted for him from the start but I started disliking him the from about the third week. I think he would have been gone if he had not come there as the biggest contestant ever, he plays that sympathy card way too much. And that Bozo-fro hair....yuck. His hair is worse than Daris'.

I really don't know who to pull for anymore this season. I think you are right Andy; Daris is about the only one who seems respectable for me to still root for.

Man I wish there was somebody on there like Tara from a few seasons ago. She kicked ass ! She is still my favorite contestant so far from all the seasons we have watched.

Ick. I can't belive how much I fast forwarded through last nights show. From the get-go I could tell it was going to be another cry-fest (which is starting to wear thin). This week is was about Victoria doing blah blah blah and whining about blah blah blah. Then Suzy Orman, who I detest shows up and wastes half an hour of my life talking about how my high FICO is going to lower my BF%. Well she would have killed more brain cells, but I took the liberty of FFing through the rest of the segment.

The quarter challenge was interesting. Was surprised that Daris and Sam both bailed out so quickly. I'm really getting tired of watching the Sunshine show, and I guess I was rooting for Mike at the end of the challenge, who I also don't really like. Come to think about it, I really don't like anyone else on the show much except for Sam and Daris haha.

Then the car challenge was neat. Of all the contestants, I was happy Drea won. Then when O'neal won and started yelling about how it was for his daughter, I couldn't help but roll my eyes and FF again. idk, call me heartless.

I think the climax of the show was when BOTH the yellow team were poised to go under the yellow line, then Sam and Drea both pull up marginal numbers and bailed them out. Ah well, maybe next week.

Yea I also fast forwarded through half of last night's show. I get tired of them focusing on one contestant every episode and making a big deal about their "problems" and yada yada yada. I agree on the O'Neal and Sunshine love fest....getting old.

I'm rooting for Daris now I think.

I've been cheering for Daris since the first episode. Something about him just struck a chord with me, I guess. He rocked this week's weigh in!

Andy, I agree with basically everything you said. Except that, while the challenges themselves were interesting, I was really frustrated that they were basically in-show commercials. >_< I mean, really, did Allison have to give us the car's sales pitch? I'm just sick of the in show advertising.

But I have to disagree on the climex of the show. I think it was the whole "throw the trainers in the mud" thing. I laughed so hard that my hubby, who hates the show, had to come out and see what was so funny. He missed it, but I'll show him next week when it's online. The look on Jillian's face and the way she bolted through the gym; it was awesome!

I was so sad to see Drea go home. I think I would have almost preferred it was Sam, even though I like him too. But honestly, I wouldn't have minded if it had been the yellow team there.

Haha I forgot about that part! To be honest, I wasn't sure they were ever going to catch Jillian, because she took off like a bullet! I did enjoy that!

I think Daris is a contender for the final four. He has the weight to lose, and EVERYONE in the house likes him. Everyone likes Sam too, but hes getting too damn lean! I mean, you can't even fault the guy for posting a zero. JUST LOOK AT HIM!

So yea, those two are my only flicker of hope left on the show!

Oh, I know! I can't figure out how they did catch her, there's no way she can't run faster and farther than they can. And man! She can run!

Yeah, I think Daris has it in him, both in drive and weight to lose. And he just seems like a like-able guy. I don't see him voted off too easily if he does have a bad week.

The fact that everyone likes Sam is the only thing that's kept him on there so far. You're right, he is just so darn thin now! He doesn't have much to lose and I actually wouldn't be surprised to see his number start going up due to muscle mass. Which is great for him physically, but not so much on the show.

I love watching the Biggest Loser, its inspirational. I just have to keep repeating to myself that the weight they loose it not realistic for me in the real world!

My husband and I watch this show and though we do admit to eating while watching it (how awful is that??), I find it very motivational. I do hate the in-show advertising, but as far as everything else, I look forward to watching it every week.

I also have a girl crush on Jillian :) We joke about how much we'd love for her to kick our butts!!

I too sense a lot of "hatred" for the show on this forum, but it is all how the individuals on here look at it. Is the weight loss they achieve realistic for regular people not able to dedicate hours and hours a day to working out? OF course not. Should people set their expectations for themselves off of this show? Absolutely not. But, I do find it inspirational that these people can learn about nutrition and how to exercise to improve themselves. These people are learning so much it makes me proud of them that they start to see that they CAN do this, it isn't an impossible feat.

As far as liking/disliking the contestants, I think Melissa was the one keeping it interesting (just like Tracy from last season, my G-- was she annoying!), so I didn't mind her being there. And I happen to enjoy seeing O'Neal gush about his daughter all the time. I think it is sweet and endearing, and I bet most girls wish they could have/had that close of a relationship with their father. He's all heart, and I'm sorry, but you find too little of that in the world these days. That said, I do wish he'd start looking at his weight loss as more for him than for her. Somewhere along the line, the man needs to start focusing on what is best for him...Sunshine's a big girl now, she's learning how to take care of herself.

...and another thing...

As far as Koli is concerned ( the week he stirred the rumor up about Stephanie throwing the weigh in which sent Ashley's mom home?):

I was curious as to why he did that, but then at the vote, Stephanie and Sam were holding hands under the table. Obviously, at the end of that show, she mentioned how she "fell in love for the first time", - that was obviously about Sam. SOOOO that just clicked in my head that Koli saw Stephanie as a threat to his and Sam's closeness, so he actually wanted to get Stephanie thrown off. I don't think Stephanie had a handle on losing weight enough to be able to throw a weigh in, nor do I think she's that evil to purposely get her closest ally's mom thrown off (I mean, why? The mom wasn't likely to stay much longer anyway).

Anyway, just my two cents on the drama. I cannot wait, however, to see Sam at the finale whether he is in the final 4 or an "at-home" contestant. He's looking fan-freakin'-tastic!

Yeah the last few weeks I have not really enjoyed the Sunshine show much either. I really really don't like her, I do think she will be very very pretty once she is thinner, I mean she is already looking really good and still has a lot to go. O'neal annoys me so badly, I think Sunshine by herself wouldn't be so bad but her dad constantly having to sayn how much he loves her... dude we know you love her, you don't have to showcase it again and again.

I love Sam, but I too think he is just too thin (and I am shocked because he is still like 250 pounds which surely is not a healthy BMI, but mayb tongan people just have insanely heavy muscles and bones) and think that Koli has the most abysmal posture, if he stood up straight he would look a lot thinner. And smarter ;)!

I feel it is funny how I keep holding a grudge against Mike and his scheming when he chose the teams and nobody on the show does. I also think he still looks very obese. I mean all the before and after pictures you can see a HUGE improvement in everybody and even though he has lost more than my own body weight by now he still looks (kind of) the same. I guess in the end, he still is a huge guy, he just started at a ridiculous weight and now is just as big as other contestants when they started.

I would like Sam to win, but that is not going to happen, Daris is a good choice but I fear it will be Mike. I really don't want him to win, I am a big character person and I want someone to win who is a nice person inside. Mike strikes me as a big selfish child. For the girls, I'd rather have Ashleigh win, she needs to lose so much still, if sSunshine wins O'neal will never stop screaming and talking and crying and I think I might have to rip my eyes and ears out!

Like it

I personally think the biggest loser is a great show. I watch it just to understand some of the "real reasons" for people behind weight gain. It always seems to come out with all of the pressure etc.
