Anybody want to help me?

Well, if you tend to work with about a 1 minute rest time when I'm running antagonist movements
So, I'll do a set of bench, rest a minute, do a set of rowing, rest a minute. If I do 5 sets of each, I get a 10 minute rest time total...maybe 12-15 minutes as fatigue sets in. The same goes for running chins and inc press...3 sets of each gives me about a 6-8 minutes of rest time. I'm now up to about 23 minutes of rest time. Run a cable circuit with no rest between but two minutes between circuits and do 2-3 circuits I'm up to about 6 minutes on this rest time or 29-30 minutes of rest time. The lifts themselves don't take a lot of time.

I might push it around 1 hour and 15 minutes but if I"m hitting much more than that I just leave. :)

do you find that you get really weak toward the end?

unfortunatly, When my gym is busy I cant superset because someone else would start useing the machine while I was on the other.

what are the benifits of working antagonists?
I like working chest and lats together because my lats always hurts anyway the day after a chest workout.

may i ask what your weekly lay out looks like?

I came off of a 3-4 day a week olympic lifting program then switched to an upper/lower set up. I'm now onto a 1-lift-a-day program with 1-2 accessory movements because this is what my time allows while I'm student teaching. The benefit of only doing 2-3 lifts is I can go a bit heavier on the lifts and I can workout around 6 days a week. I also throw twice a week and I'm getting ready for my first Highland Games competition. My lifts are primarily revolved around snatch, clean, jerk, push press, back squat, front squat. I do throw in a bit of benching and rowing to even things up for fun.

I like working antagonist because I can do more in less time. As an example, I like to get around 2 minutes rest between hitting another set of the same muscle group. If (for example) I did 5 sets of bench and 5 sets of rows, then I'd essentially have 20 minutes of rest time. But if I run an A1 for bench and A2 for row and I take 1 minute rest between movements, then I can do both bench and row with only 10 minutes worth of rest without losing any performance. So, in this regard, I've done more work in less time and able to maintain intensity.
