I currently wake up at 12pm every day because I only have 2 classes this semester in school which are the last and 2nd last periods of the day, and because of this I usually get to sleep around 3am. Lazy sounding lifestyle, I know, but it's my last year before university so I figure I might as well enjoy it. Anyway, since things are pushed back about 5 hours from a normal person's day, I eat "breakfast" as soon as I get up but it's everyone else's lunch and then I eat "lunch" with my family at dinner. Now looking at this with number's it would make sense for me to eat something else around 10:30pm but I am usually not very hungry at that point and could go to sleep at about 3am with barely even feeling hungry. However, before i read all this stuff about the "keep your metabolism running by eating often" being a myth, I thought it would be a good idea to use that time to eat a fat-free/no added sugar yogurt and a piece of fruit for the "metabolic boost" which I did every once in a while.
Basically, I want to know if (in terms of weight loss) it is a good idea to eat fruit at a time where I'm really not feeling hungry, or if it works like "the less calories the better" regardless of where they are coming from.
