Any Low Carbers Here?

I eat low carb but not atkins. i follow primal blueprint/paleo/caveman. i did atkins before and found it effective but not sustainable. this is enough different that i love it and feel better than ever. 58 pounds down

Hello Avsman, I will do some research, but could you tell me the difference between Atkins and what you are doing? I've been on and off Atkins for years, you are right not sustainable, but I know low carbing works for me.

Thanks

If you are familiar with south beach paleo is closer to that. In general, 100% organic veggies, lots of eggs, grass fed beef, free range chicken, no peanuts but other nuts are ok in moderation, sweet potatos in moderation as well, fruit is fine as long as you dont go nuts.
The big differences are with unnatural things. No artificial sweeteners, which means no diet soda or sugar free candies etc.
if you are familiar with atkins and south beach it is the same general idea but really stresses the natural part where atkins and south beach have gotten rich off of selling items filled with articicial shit. advocates of the diet say you should stay away from most oils as well, coconut oil and olive being the best.

My standard day - 2 egg omelet with bacon and peppers for breakfast. paleo chili or leftovers for lunch (lots of oven baked wings) Steak and sweet potato fries, pot roast with carrots and onions, sausages in tomato sauce, etc for dinner

I also generally eat low carb, but I don't follow any specific diet but probably the closest would be a TKD which is close to being PSMF when I drop the calories down.
