hey people, i ran nearly everyday for about 30 min, and i was wondering what kinds of exercises can i incorporate after the training, or later that night i can do to help me with my weightloss aim. i got no access to a gym.

thank you in advance.

Have you ever thought about buying some dumbbells or something of the like to use for in-home resistance training.

I've heard interval workouts are great for conditioning. Can you go to a local track and run? My sister = cross country runner and that's how they train, and i read that it is actually suggested for people who are losing weight to mix up their exercises once in a while. For example, instead of running for 30 straight minutes you could go to a track and run 4 400's (400=one lap) with 30 second to one minute breaks inbetween them. Or you could run like 21/2 laps, one minute break, 2 laps, one minute break, 1 1/2 laps, one minute break and so on and so forth.

Also, like suggested above me weight lifting is supposed to be great for your metabolism. GOOD LUCK! :) Keep us posted~

how about some push ups, squats, and crunches. THis will not really help you lose weight but will tighten up your muscle to lose inches.

There are a wide array of workout dvd's to choose from, I hear good things about tae bo and winsor pilates. I have some of the 10 minute solution DVDs and they are really effective.

Doing balance ball training is really effective and fun! PLUS balance balls are cheap ><

I also agree with getting some dumbbells. Gyms are just more convenient but you can do without them, really.

Resistance Bands work well at home for muscle toning and a Jump Rope will add high intensity, but short bursts effective workouts.

i think exercise is only a good way ti loss your weight. at first you've to join gym if you want to loss your weight. don't try to eat very little because it may be very harmful for you.

Up your cardio to 45 minutes at a time.

Work out at night after you eat and then again in the morning before you eat to shock your metabolism at least a couple times a week.

Make sure you always eat within 40 minutes of an intense workout.

All the above (minus the most recent post) gave great tips that I agree with.

Whatever you decide to do, read up on what you're adding to your program, make sure you are doing the exercises right, and then stick to it. :)

You're going to do great!
