Greetings all, I accidently stumbled onto this forum and am a bit relieved. Seems like there's ton of friendly support.

Anyways, for the last few years Ive been having a difficult time losing weight. Mainly due to temptations/urges and me giving in. My current weight is 330. My short goal is to get below 300 and then make a long push to around 200ish.

Now maybe with the help from this forum, I can finally achieve my goal.

Welcome! The first 30 lbs should be pretty easy. The rest will come as a result of genuine lifestyle changes. Theres lots of ways to do it, and I'm sure you'll find one here.

Thanks for the reply :)

I'm usually a lurker, so I hardly ever post much. I think I'm going to try to limit my caloric intake to around 1200-1500 per day. For morning and dinner I'll be having a protein drink. Lunch will be some lean low carb meal. I'll try to make it as sensible as I can I guess. Drink a lot of water and of course snack on fruits/vegetables/lowfat yogurt throughout the day to keep the matabolism rate up.

For exercise I do play tennis frequently. Now with Spring, the weather is warm enough to get a good sweat going, so that'll be good.

I do have a Bowflex that I recently purchased. I'll definitely put it to work and try to fix a workout plan for that.

Am I missing anything else?
