Hi all.

Well... this is my second go round on the whole weight loss thing. 7 years ago I lost 80 lbs..... then after a snowmobile accident... torn bicep and torn rotator cuff ( surgery ) I fell victim to the just lay around the house program. Gained a quick 50 lbs and now after the surgery and rehab I am back in the gym. I have been doing a combination, weight lifting and exercise program (elliptical trainer.) I have fallen in love with the elliptical! I used to run, but my knee's have had other ideas about that. I am two months into the program, but really only one month of "Hard at it" Glad I was able to find this forum and learn of others progress.
 
The elliptical trainer is awesome for some low impact exercise. If your gym has a cycle class try that also low impact but wow they can really work you.
