1 - I don't think you're eating enough - you need to incorporate more "whole meals" to your diet.
2 - You don't have enough protein in your diet.
3 - It seems as though you have your biggest meal in the evening, and snack the rest of the day. Try and spread out your calories over the entire day so you don't get hungry and overeat at the big meal. Think about it - you're most active during the day, so if you eat in the morning, you will burn more throughout the day. Recommended is 4-6 smaller meals a day.
4 - You need more balance. Carbs, fats, and protein are the macro nutrients that you need to have with more or less every meal.

Don't try to guess your weight. If you aren't sure exactly how much you weight, you can't set yourself a realistic goal. Invest in a scale - it's definitely worth it. Plus, you may be a lot closer to or further from your goal than you think. Even if you are well built, you need to work out your entire body to lose fat - can't "spot reduce" anything.

Sure, it's possible and realistic. 28-35 lbs in approximately 20 weeks. You can typically lose 2lbs per week safely. The one thing to keep in mind is that people who mix up their exercises between cardio and weight lifting typically see 3 times the results of those who do one or the other. Try incorporating some HIIT into your routine and set a workout schedule for 3-5 days per week. Make sure you're giving your body a break.

But, more so than ANYTHING, you need to focus on what you eat. The exercise program will just assist a bit and help maintain muscle mass; but your diet will be responsible for a HUGE portion of your success.

Remember, don't think of it as a "diet" as much as a "change in lifestyle." If you approach this as a temporary diet, you will lose weight - but you will gain it back when your diet is over and you start eating like crap again. It's hard work to maintain a healthy lifestyle, so take little steps at a time and work towards it. :)

Read up on some of the nutrition stickies - very helpful in this aspect.

I just did some quick research with a BMR calculator, and if you're doing moderate exercise 3-5 days a week, you need to be eating right around 3,900 calories PER DAY to maintain your weight. This means that just going through life as you do requires your body to burn 3,900 calories daily.

I figure you can probably go down to about 3,100 -3,200 calories per day. You don't really need to worry TOO much about the macro nutrients (protein/carb/fat) - if you eat less than what your body burns, you will lose weight. Add in exercise, and you're golden.

If you're eating too little, your body will start storing everything as fat reserves, in case it has to go through a period of starvation again. This is not ideal for weight loss.

If you're unsure about the caloric values of something, just look it up! Google is your friend. Also, try using a site like fitday.com or calorieking.com to track your daily calorie intake. This will give you a MUCH better idea of how much you're actually eating.
