Another new poster

Hello. Not really sure what im meant to be doing but im hopeing i will pick it up as i go along!!:)
Its took me a while to find the nerve to join on here properly! but thought i might as well take the plunge. Well just a bit about me.... Im 33. When i started to have my kiddies 10 years ago my weight went up to 17stone 7lb(245?lb). Over the years ive lost and put back on ive managed to keep this lot off and im now 13 stone(183lb?).I would love to get down to 10 and 1/2 stone(147lb).I want to keep it realistic but im sure if i manage it i will want to loose a few more pounds, we'll see!.Im just going it a stone at a time though.

Hello Michelle. I thought i best join in as ive came to a bit of a stop with my weight! Im trying my hardest but not much is working, ive heard that it can happen but im not sure why? Im determind(thats not spelt right is it! lol) not to gain any more.I would like to get lower than the 10 and a half stone i said but if i set my sights to high in 1 go im more likly to fail. I bought 1 of them littl indoor trampolines, anyone know if they are any good? I also go on a cross trainer every day for between 30 min and 1 hour. I would go outside but i suffer with panic attacks a lot so find that hard sometimes. Anyway im really glad to of joined there seems a lot of nice friendly people on here x
 
Thanks Matt. I am trying and looking on here really has made me try ever harder now! You are all doing so good and i want to be the same. Just looked at your before and after pics, real cute!
 
Ive spent a while looking about on here and im still not sure where to post to ask for advice so i guess i'll put it here and hope someone sees my call for help! lol. My main problems are bum, hips and thighs thats not to say i dont want to lose it allll over but they are my 3 main areas that i want to loose from. Whats the best sort of exercise to do for that?I got a bums hips and tums dvd and a gazzelle machine which i try to do 30 mins of 5 times a week and ive been doing some jumping on the mini trampoline, but nothing is shifted the arse! when i get the nerve i will try to post some pics, but im to nervous at the moment. Anyone got any advise they can give me? xx
 
I wish I had some awesome advice for that, but as far as I know (from just reading around the forum) there aren't really any specific spot toning things you can do. Basically our genetics make up where our fat distribution on our body is. Again, I'm not 100% on this. :(
 
Oh well thanks for that, i must take after my dad side of the family, they all had big arses!! haha. I suppose it will come off them areas sooner or later, i'll just keep pounding the exercise machines to death! lol
