Ankle Foot Motion

We naturally tend to see things that we do not know by making analogies with those we know and we understand.
At first glance , therefore, we imagine that the joint movements are about fixed axes , as will a wheel around its axis .
The description that we will make the difference between mechanics and biomechanics have ankle for support. These differences are reflected in all the joints that are never mechanical assemblies in the sense we understand it in everyday life.

Osteoarthritis of the foot, which can affect all the joints of the foot and ankle is rare compared with other forms of arthritis such as osteoarthritis of the knee, for example.
In fact, it occurs in the majority of cases by:
people with a foot malformation ( static type anomalies " flat foot " or hollow )
or in athletes seeking enormously these joints.
