Hi everyone,
First I would like to introduce myself, my name is Marcelo, and I've been reading many tips from the forum which helped me a lot. I started to get real on working out on August and went from 163 pounds to my current weight of 181. I decided to start by bulking since after you put on some muscles it gets easier to cut. I am 6 feet tall.
I was reading some info about cutting and got kind of confused. I have always consumed very few calories and only had like 3 meals a day and one snack. For bulking I had to increase my calories intake and add a few snacks and I was up to around 2,800 calories a day and that's how I gained those 18 pounds. I was planning on cutting my intake to 1500 a day but I read that it is way to low, and that a good calorie intake for cutting would be around 2700, thats almost as much as I have been consuming for bulking, and I was force feeding myself. should I go as low as 2000 calories a day? PLEASE ANY HELP IS WELCOME. thank you guys in advance! and by the way... Happy New Year!
