Am I the only one..... ???

I always see people bring up stuff about, cheat days, cheat meals, treats, etc...... and they say stuff like > You just have to, or you will go crazy, and fall hard from the wagon......

Uhhhh.... really ?

Geeez, I dunno' about these people, but I LOVE every bite of food I put in my mouth ! Everything I eat is a freaking treat !

I mean, I have had a bowl of oatmeal, with peanut butter, and some Silk very vanilla, + 8 jumbo egg whites, every single day for more than 2 years.... yet it still tastes so freaking good, I inhale that stuff every time :)

In fact, today is my last day of a bulk, where I had been eating 4200-4500 cals a day, except for the last few, which were 5000+ > And yet I saw no reason / I had no desire, to eat anything stupid. I ate all the same, healthy stuff that I always do, just more of it..... er' should I say, just whenever I thought about it ;) LOL

Anybody ?

Peace,

Fish

PS, For those of you who are addicted to chocolate, have you tried Cliff builders bars ? Freaking off the hook + they contain 20 gm's of protein :) I've been eating 2 a day. But back to 1 starting tomorrow.

I think you'll find that cheat days are more important for people on fat loss diets that are on very low calories - not for those who are bulking.

Everyone's different - some people don't like eating the same thing 2 days in a row let alone 2 years! With women it can also be about hormones, which can cause all sorts of cravings.

AYeah I think on low calorie diets the craving for something nice is always there. I try to have one day a week where I enjoy some less healthy food (not a full on binge or massive quantities) might have a chocolate bar or a milkshake I like. Strangely my body reacts quite well to the change in diet/calorie intake every now and then :)

If I was on a higher calorie diet I wouldn't crave anything as my body would constantly be given food aka treats. As you said everything you put into your mouth you should enjoy as a treat :)

I also don't support the cheat day and so on principle however what i've noticed with myself is i eat well when my mood is godo and eat bad when my mood is bad. For the most part.

And i agree iwth those above who talk about how it might be for those who are not eating quite enough.

Thanks guys :)

Of course everybody is different. I get plenty ravaging hungry, if I'm on a cut, and eating what is "low cals" for me (anything below 3500)..... but again, that just makes any of my normal food items, taste that much better.

I don't know why, but my cravings are for "food" in general..... not any particular type of unhealthy garbage.

Pretty amazing I used to be a junk food addict, huh ? Not sure how this changed, but I really use very little, if any will power, to stay away from junk food nowadays".

211.4 lbs yesterday morning, top of a bulk... intended 215-218, but ran out of time.....

196 in 3-4 weeks ;) Easy peasy :)

Peace,
