Am I supposed to be so grumpy?

I'm 26, 4'11", 122 lbs. I've lived all 26 years in a sedentary state.... I mean I've NEVER been active and I've NEVER excercised knowingly. My body is changing in bad, bad ways. So, I decided it's time to buckle down and join a gym. I only want to lose 10-15 lbs or at least convert it to muscle and keep the weight. I've been eating healthier, cut out soda, cut out white foods, and I try to get in about an hour of cardio a day and two or three sessions of light lifting per week. Granted, I've only been doing this a week.... BUT I'M SO GRUMPY!

Is this supposed to happen? Is my metabolism changing and effecting my blood sugar? I feel like I have PMS times ten every day! I crave protein after my work out, so I eat. I don't neglect my cravings. BUT I'M SO GRUMPY!

Any ideas?

Generally excercise is a good way to release stress. Is there something else on your mind that is affecting you? Perhaps it isn't the workout..

Maybe it is your workout; maybe it's stressing you out. Would you rather bike in the park, do a dance video, walk the dog?
