Am I doing this right?

Hey all, been reading threads on this board and have a few questions about my own workout and diet that I'd like some advice on.

A little history of myself first. I have a majority of relatives that are obese and before I started losing any weight I looked just like most of them. I peaked my weight as a senior in high school three years ago at ~296(most I was weighed). I played basketball everyday, competitively for an hour, but I also ate 4-5 meals a day of 1500-2000 calories. Starting college though after that I decided to start losing weight. I lost around 30 lbs my freshman year and steadily lost weight throughout my second year. The summer after that though is when I started jogging. I was jogging about 1.5 miles 3 times a week. I eventually burned out and gained some weight back til about 5 months ago.

I currently weigh about 210-215. I usually jog 2.3 miles(I mapped out my run with some tool I found from this site and that's what it says) Tuesdays and Thursdays. I also weight lift after that and also some on Wednesdays and Fridays. My job is pretty labor intensive, so I go easy on Fridays so I'm not sore at work. I know I've put on a lot of upper body muscle, but I still look pretty fat. I have a lot of excess skin.

For my diet, I usually eat about 1000-1500 calories a day. Breakfast is water and some turkey breast. I'll randomly have some more turkey through the day. Days I work though, I'll get subway. I also love tortilla chips with fresh salsa. I mainly eat meats, and I have completely cut out pop and snacks/candy from my diet.

Overall how does this look? Any suggestions to improve my habits are appreciated.
