I have been working out for a couple weeks, I have taken three days off total. My workout typically consists of 30 min cardio on elliptical, than 30 mins of curcuit training, I have started alternating days, I will work on upper body weights for one day than the next day do lower body. I have started also taking a core training class twice a week. My calorie intake is 1300-1550 per day. I have been drinking about 60 oz of water per day. I weighed myself and i have put on weight. Is this due to weight training? If so when am i going to see some weight loss?? I'm working out HARD my heart rate is at about 148-168 during my workout and I'm dripping with sweat. I felt like certain areas of my body were getting smaller but than i stepped on the scale and was 6 pounds UP not DOWN!!! I'm getting a bit discouraged.
