Hi All!,
Newby on board! I was just hoping to gain some advice from those of you that have some experience with this sort of thing..
I'm currently on a very low calorie diet (ketosis inducing) so am consuming between 500 - 650 calories a day which includes around 40-50 grams of carbs per day. I'm working out 5-6 times a week, doing 30 mins of toning and cardio, and consuming between 3-4 litres of flavoured water (water flavouring that isn't supposed to affect ketosis, from keediet.com). Despite my efforts I only seem to be losing around a pound a week! And some weeks I don't lose anything!
I was wondering whether this is muscle mass? I didn't think this amount of exercise would create this problem, but this is just a guess. Could the water flavouring be the issue? Despite the claims? Any ideas would be appreciated.
