Always starting over.... :(

Hi!
I'm a 25 year old stay at home mom of three. I have a girl who's almost 4 and twin boys who just turned 1. I am constantly starting a diet, just to sabotage myself and start over again a few days later. I need the motivation to carry over from one day to the next. My husband is also overweight and he's a bad influence. LOL (I'll blame him, because he doesn't know that I'm writing this!!! HAHA)
I lost almost all the baby weight after the first pregnancy, but after losing 50 lbs of the 80 that I gained with the boys, nothing more came off. I need to lose about 60 lbs now. My immediate goal is to lose 20 lbs by the end of May. It's hard to find time to exercise with three small children and a husband who works weird hours, but I'm going to do the best that I can!

Hi there Roony. I've been on a diet for 6 months which took me 2 years to start. The first week is the hardest. If you can somehow get through that first week, it gets easier. But the first week is when you're going to just feel like passing out unless you get a pile of donuts or something. You'll get headaches and maybe some flu symptoms, get irritable, etc.

But after that, your body will realize it has some fat to burn instead of relying on constant feeding and you will start feel much better. It's sort of like shifting gears, very, very, slowly. Just hang in there and drink lots of coffee and tell your husband to eat his junk food outside.
