I have just joined up and I thought I'd introduce myself. First let me say my username means that I am now a size 20 and I want to get back to a size 10. These are UK sizes.

I have lost and gained back the same 50 to 70lbs at least 10 times in my adult life. I've done it many different ways but have never really sorted out the fitness side of it and have only focused on the nutrition side.

So, I'll give you my stats now. In June of 2008 I weighed 65kg and I want to get back there!! I was a size 10 (size 8 US) and felt and looked amazing. I just never got toned and a series of stressful events and laziness got me back where I am now.

My stats:
female
curvy build
5'7"
June 2008: 65kg
January 10, 2010 (highest): 97.7kg

Dress size: goal 10 UK
dress size now: 20 UK :(

weight loss progress:

10 Jan 2010: 97.7kg
17 Jan 2010: 95.1kg
(weekly loss of 2.6 kg)

Plan:

1. Think positively. Don't beat myself up for past mistakes!
2. Take more care with hair clothes and makeup.
3. Drink 2.5L of water a day
4. 1 cup of coffee and 1 cup if tea per day
5. 1200cals a day with good amounts of protein veg and fibre, lower fats and only brown rice ( bread and pasta are my downfalls and potatoes bloat )
6. Move more. I'm working on this one and have made a goal of 15 min on bike 4 days a week. I'm so so so cardiovascular unfit that this is a massive undertaking. I'll consider joining a gym after I've lost the first stone!

welcome to the forum!!! One thing i find that keeps me motivated is the 'weight-loss table' which you will see to the left side of your screen, you can track your weight and also see how others are doing :)
