All-meat diet

Hi,
I've heard of super-duper all-meat diet.

Gonna try it out starting from today for 2 weeks.

Eating just boiled beef (and drinking water/tee and having some vitamins).

Any suggestions?

I'd at least eat veggies too, otherwise you're gonna have the worst case of constipation seen in the last decade.

LOL. :)
Still, it's that diet works if I'm not consuming carbohydrates AT ALL.
Just plain meat.

ps. first day is over.

Keep in mind, even the atkins diet recommends eating a moderate (40 grams if I remember correctly) amount of carbohydrate intake.

Day 3.
Still feeling weak. No visible improvement. : )
.
There is one good reason to have this diet. After this nightmare, it will be pleasure to be on the regular diet.

Regards,

i suggest getting off the all meat diet ive heard noithing but bad things about it... all your doing pretty much is straving your body of what it needs. in other words your body thinks your not getting any food so your metabolism is slowing down and once you get off of it your gonna bloat like a balloon. i suggest just reducing your caloric intake and exercise its the only healthy and safe way to lose fat. (my opinion)

Yeah, the problem with all-meat diets, as with any food-specific diet, is finding the nutrients and energy you need. That being said, all of the nutrients you need are not in meat. You need lots of vegetables, some dairy (like cheese), nuts, eggs and some fruit too. You also need some carbohydrates. The good thing about this kind of diet is that it's NATURAL!! We evolved over hundreds of thousands of years to eat meats and greens! Humans have only been farming for a very small fraction of that time, so grains are, for the most part, not something we're built to eat. Atleast that's the way I see it. Make sense, doesn't it?

Are you doing Atkins? Where you cut all carbs out for two weeks then you slowly introduce a small list of them back into your system again. Or are you doing something else? If it's Atkins, male sure you eat you salads everyday while on the induction plan, they will help keep you regular and curve some carb cravings. The best thing to do would be, drop the Atkins and eat a sensible diet. Go with the Zone approach 40-30-30, its a better bet.

You're destroying your health!! What you need is probably more physical activity in your life. My best advice if you are one of those people who just 'don't have enough time' is to do exercises such as squats or deadlifts for moderate to high repetitions. This is good for 1. muscles and 2. cardiovascular health. These exercises have also been proven to release human growth hormone. Low-carb diets (especially an all-meat diet) have been linked to severe diseases including heart disease, cancer, and kidney disease. Do you really want to shorten your lifespan just to lose a little bit of weight the easy way? I personally don't believe in sacrificing my life just to make things a little easier for myself in the short-term.

"A high fat diet can do damage to your ***** also (the walls of the arteries in your ***** can become partially blocked reducing bloodflow and causing impotence, wearing polyester underwear can cause impotence also). A high fat meal can decrease testosterone levels by as much as 30% within 2 hrs. after the meal."

think about that before you go to far. im guessing you can tell what the ***** is
