So ive changed my diet to one meal a day, and different exercises throughout the day.
i wake up in the morning and go for a walk, about a 2 miles or more. some days i run, but not very far, i mostly run for like 5 minutes than walk the rest of the time...trying to build my stamina.
after that i come home and relax a little, do 3 sets of 20 sit ups and 3 sets of 10 push ups. and go for the same walk later. Drinking water throughout the day.
i usually eat something small 4-6 hours after i awake and that's it, but im going to change that to 3-4 small meals, cause what i was doing was not healthy.

Im changing my plan to 2 brisk walks a day of 4 miles for sure, maybe more depending on what im doing. same amount of push ups and sit ups. and the change in diet. As time goes on i will add more push ups and sit ups

My diet is healthy food. fruits, vegetables, meat, water. I cut out all sweets and fatty foods, and bread sadly.

If im on the right path please tell me, if i need to make some changes please tell me.

thank you for your time, have a good day:seeya:

You need to figure out how many calories you should be eating and base your meals on that. It doesn't matter if you eat once a day or 8 times a day, as long as you get enough healthy calories to sustain your body.

You shouldn't cut out all fats or carbs ... and there's nothing wrong with bread now and then. Don't make such drastic changes that you'll be miserable and wind up giving up. I eat bread a couple of times a week, and I still eat oats, whole grains, etc. on a daily basis. Also you need healthy fats in your diet - low fat or no fat is not the way to go. Make sure you're getting some fats like olive oil, nuts and seeds, avocados, etc. every day.

Other than that, I personally don't see the need to walk 8 miles a day (4 miles, 2x per day) but if you have the time and want to, more power to you. I'd say one 2 mile walk per day should be sufficient (more than) w/out causing you to burn out from being overly ambitious. Also if you want to learn to run, I highly recommend the Couch to 5K program. It takes you through a very structured plan, starting with the assumption that you've never run before - you start off alternating walking and running for about a minute at a time. Then you work up until you're running for a full 30 minutes over about a 9-12 week period. It's pretty effective. I'm on week 5 now (did week 2 for 2 weeks and week 4 for 2 weeks, so you can change it up if you need to).

Hmm thanks for the post, okay i will add those fats, and the 8 miles a day(i know what you mean by excessive), is just for the fact that its summer im out of school, and its either i could do that or sit and play videogames.
and i will look at that 5k program right now, thanks a bunch.
and how long can you run right now?
Edit: I looked at the 5k program it looks really good, and i am going to start doing it, gunna do it, sometime after my first walk. i got alot of free time right now and im going to use it wisely :p thanks again

Right now the program has me doing this:

5 min warmup brisk walk
8 mins running
5 mins brisk walk
8 mins running
5 mins cooldown brisk walk

So I'm running for a total of 16 mins and walking for 15. I've actually been throwing another 5 minute walk/run combination in there at the end, which gets me to 5k (3.1 miles) in a total of 42 minutes (just a hair under). It was really important to me to get to the full distance, even though I run slowly.

Once I get to the point that I can run for a full 25 mins at a time (with a warmup before and a cooldown after), I'll start picking up my speed. For right now I'm happy running at about 5.0 (I have short legs, so it works for me). :) Ideally I'd like to be able to run the whole thing in less than 30 minutes. I'm planning to run a 5k in November in honor of a friend of mine who has a particularly bad form of cancer, so I have plenty of time to train.
