=) Ahoyhoy!

Hey there,
I'm Arasae. Twenty, in college full time, working nearly full time, barely finding enough time to breathe and eat in between the two let alone work out or worrying about the "correct" nutrition, but.. I want to start taking steps to better fitness. Currently, I'm what constitutes as "in shape", but I can't win the genetic lottery forever, so I'd like to get on the fitness train now before I absolutely need to for my health!

I was thinking that perhaps, for motivation, I would create a journal for this lifestyle change I'm making: write down my diet just for funsies (oh, how fun it is to chronicle just how unbalanced this part is!), take pictures every week, and detail what exercizes I'm performing and all of that jazz.

I'm aiming for better tone, especially in legs/gluts/stomach, and eventually an overall lifestyle change, but I'm thinking for now I want to focus on just making a point to work out every day. Although my job is physically demanding (For a woman--I carry heavy trays for four-six hours at a time, constantly, non-stop), it's not enough in my humblest of opinions.

Anyway, getting started, so.. hi! =)

Good day and welcome.

You have the similar problem of many people all round the world. Yes the things that are taking your time are important but so is your health and well being.

The journals section is a great place to keep track of what you are doing and lets other people check on you too. Its also interesting to read other peoples journals as essentially we are all pretty similar so can learn a lot about each other and its a great place to pick up new tips and exercises.

Enjoy the site and enjoy taking care of your health.
