Ahoy ahoy

Hello! I'm 27, been athletic most of my life. I'm here to try and help others as well as get support and information/opinions from other individuals.

Originally from Michigan. I was an all-conference football player in high school, decided not to go on to play for college ball and instead went to a private music school. Afterwards, I got a job working in music and sound design for commercials in NYC and moved here in 2007. Living in Brooklyn now, I have a home studio and work out of my apartment most of the time. Often times I will head into Manhattan where my boss has a studio if we have to do larger sessions, but I'm typically working from home 90% of the time.

My fitness level has gone up and down in the last 3 years since moving here. I've always been a rather broad individual. Weighing in roughly 210lbs at 6'3'', I have a bit of a swimmer's physique. I used to run, then I got addicted to swimming in 2004 and became a regular swimmer for a few years. Now with my current lifestyle keeping me at home most of the time, I have to get creative in my workouts and dieting. I'm hoping to find inspiration, share stories as well as learn from others to help get back on track. Though I know my circumstances aren't dire, I'm still looking to get back into the shape I used to be.
