I wouldn't agree that it's something to 'get over'.
Your stomach expands when you eat, it doesn't naturally 'bloat', as in, that feeling of bloatedness.
That used to happen to me aswell, no matter what i cut out, wheat, rye, oats, fruit, peanuts, vinegar...
Since going raw it has stopped, but if i eat cooked foods, it happens again.
I must being doing something right, now, so i'm not going to change it.
