Well weight is really not my problem, i have really skinny legs and my thighs are quite toned due to martial arts.

The main problem areas are my Calves(no muscle), arms(tend to become bulky) and especially my stomach and love handles.

Im 165 cm and weight around 107 pounds.

So recently i have been going for these spinning classes which have proven to be effective. I may have gone for 5 in two weeks and i feel a difference. Will it help my abs? Do i also need to do ab exercises?

Besides that i am doing weight training around 2 days a week but im increasing that to three. Is that enough?

My diet is quite normal. I tend to eat a lot of meat. And drink water and am relatively healthy.

How bad is alcohol for the abdominal? How does one count calorie intake?

Do let me know if u feel there is something i need to change.

Thank u

Unfortunately, there is no way to target weight loss to a specific part of the body. If you want to lose the love handles, you have to lose weight, and your bird legs are probably going to get even skinnier. I have the same problem.

Wont my legs be better after all the muscle i put on from the exercising.?

Burning fat and gaining muscle at the same time are conflicting ideas in the fitness world. This is because burning fat requires less caloric intake overall, while building muscle requires a higher caloric intake. The right diet can help you minimize muscle loss while cutting fat.

My advice would to be to attempt this in two stages- trim the fat first, and then build the muscle up.

Alcohol, along with any other empty calorie (candy, soda, potato chips, etc) will give your body calories it can not make use of. Your body uses calories to give you energy, build muscle, and make use of its internal organs. Alcohol provides almost no benefit to your body so the calories show up on your love handles. When I started my weight loss adventure I thought of it like turning my body into a machine. Only give it the best parts and best energy sources. When you reach your goal it is ok to bring back in things you love (I love drinking beer, but am not going to drink again until I am ready to stop seeing results, and I have seen results everyday since I started) in moderation.

well i do drink once in a while. But i am already seeing results. i could cut down on the alcohol for a while. Dont really care about that to much right now. I rather just be in shape.
What my question is

Can i build muscles on my legs from spinning? I cant afford to loose more weight there. i also go a weights class 2-3 weeks for an hour.

thinking of putting in yoga early in the morning aswell.
