Advice or Help?

Howdy everyone. I'm new to these forums, so if anyone can give me any advice or tips to help me out, I will be eternally grateful.

I have never struggled with being obese and overweight. Even though I do not have a beer gut, it is evident that there is some belly that I can get rid of. If I took off my shirt and did jumping jacks, you would see what I mean. Even though I live a fairly healthy lifestyle, I have decided to change my workout routine and diet to get rid of this excess baggage around my waist line.

I recognize that a good diet, weight lifting, and cardio are essential to lose body fat. My diet is fairly healthy, so I'm not too concerned about that. On top of playing with my local rugby team, I try to get to the gym at least three times a week. My core workout typically consists of weight lifting and cardio. I aim to do at least 40 minutes of intense weight lifting and around 20 minutes of cardio.

The problem that I've been having is that I get incredibly painful stomach cramps during my cardio. This has persisted ever since I started doing cardio after lifting weights (about 6 months ago). Sometimes it happens within the last 5 minutes, and other times I get them right as I start. While there are times that it is mild enough that I can suck it up and continue, there are times where my cramps get so huge that I can literally start to taste vomit in my mouth. I've had to skip my cardio recently because of these cramps. Sometimes I avoid having my post-workout meal because when I do get these cramps and have my meal, I feel like throwing up right after. I even wait for a while for my stomach to settle down before I have my meal. I have considered doing fastened cardio in the morning, but I get up at very early hours as it is, and I don't have the best of sleeps, so I don't feel this is a better alternative.

If there is anyone that can possibly give me some guidance and assistance, might you be able to explain/answer:
-Is 40 minutes of weight lifting and 20 minutes of cardio three times a week sufficient to get rid of body fat? If not, what would be a more ideal time?
-Why do I keep getting these cramps?
-What can I do to possibly get rid of these cramps?
-Might there be a better time for me to do cardio to eliminate these cramps?
-Might fastened cardio early in the morning be a better alternative?

Sorry if this got a bit lengthy, but I feel that if I can find a way to resolve my cardio problem, I will achieve my goal with minimal problems. Again, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
