Add weight/reps/sets??

I am a 57 year male, very de-conditioned who has recently started a weight program. I started off slow with light weights and 3 sets/15 reps. I am interested in increasing my endurance and flexibility. I am a few weeks into the program and feel I need to increase. My question: Would I get optimal results by adding weight to the 3/15 or increase the reps or increase the set
or a combination.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Don

i think for endurance i would increase the reps and then add on more weight once you've increased your reps to say 30. if you are deconditioned you want to build up at a even steady pace so you don't over do it or hurt yourself. keep it up the benifits will be the big payoff (feeling great) to your health. also if you have any health probs be sure to run your program by your doc too.

Always top your previous workout, either add more weight, add an extra rep, take less rest between sets, lift the same amount in a shorter time, etc...
