Hi Ive been losing weight around every part of my body but for some reason I never lose weight around my abs. I run around with friends playing football partially everyday and run on the treadmill for 30 minutes a day but nothing lost around that are, anyone can help me?

If you can go on Mens Health's web site they have a ton of exercises. Not only for building abs but all body parts.

You can't pick and choose where you lose the fat. Our bodies don't work that way.

If you are losing fat now, stick with it and eventually the fat will come off the abs.... assuming diet and training remains in check.

No exercise is going to magically expose your abs.

I also do not believe in the ability to "target train" what fat you want to loose. You hear "target training" a lot on infomercials and such. If we could successfully target train, you could just work all the fat off your gut and still have fat legs, back, etc.. just doesn't make natural sense.

no such thing as spot reduction, when you lose weight you lose it from everywhere, not more or less from any one spot.

as for your stomach, try to remember that its the most critical area us men look at.

odds are that you have lost fat from your gut, just not enough yet for you to really notice.

even using a tape measurer can be deceiving because you could be building up ab muscle underneath, so your waist stays the same even though there is less fat.

the other thing to remember is that as you lose fat from other parts of your body it makes it harder to notice the fat you've lost from your belly. because everything kind of stays in 'proportion' - so you feel like you still look the same.

another thing is that you can lose belly fat but the skin hasn't tightened up yet. so it still looks as big, but its a mushier looser fat. once the skin tightens then it looks smaller.

anyway, all you can do either way is to keep dieting / exercising. if you go 2-4 weeks without losing any weight, then change up the diet or your exercise routine.

Not really. We lose fat in a predetermined, genetic pattern which will be a very individual thing.

We don't lose fat equally/proportionately all over.

Building muscle isn't probable while dieting.

ok so what is the best exercise to do that will make you lose body fat? Im thinking of getting a bike and riding it outside for 2-4 hours, what areas would it target? mainly body fat.
