? about eating until full!

Ok here is my question. I just made broccoli chicken stir fry, with nothing but chicken breast (120 cal) broccoli (30 cal), a little olive oil, garlic, and ginger. It made a big plateful. Although very healthy, it was really good. I only ate half before feeling full. Since it is healthy should I try to eat it all? I put it in the fridge, so my next question is in an hour and a half when I want to eat again, should I eat the rest or make myself wait?? I mean, I know I wont really be hungry, but I will want to eat, so should you make yourself wait4 hours before eating again, or go ahead and eat?? How often should I be eating something? even if it is just a snack. I bought bunches of good fruit like strawberries, raspberries, oranges and apples, so can you eat those frequently or should I be trying to wean myself off of wanting to snack?? What really is the right thing to do?

I don't think there's anything wrong with snacking... as long as you're listening to your body and eating when you're hungry and not b ecause you're bored/lonely/etc..

You're calories for the d ay so far seem extremely low - you really want to make sure youo're eating enough...

re: not eating enough

hello, well I didnt get up until late today so I had a slimfast at 11:30 (190 cal) and then my broccoli/chicken (300 cal which I ate half of so 150 cal) and a glass of iced tea (190 cal) lunch at 1:30. How can I tell the difference in snacking from boredom versus hunger??

when you eat something - ask yourself if you're really hungry or not or are you eating becuase you have nothing better to do...

Some people willdo the 15 minute rule - that tehy will put the food away for 15 minutes and go do something and after that - if they are still hungry they will eat it...
