For my original journey and some context, please see my original diary....

Okay, so, over the last six months, in all honesty, I fell off the boat. Though I had a gym downstairs in my office, and across the street in the apartment, I rarely went. I was also adverse to cooking, and had fast food alot. I had that motivation in September, but I never acted on it. Basically, I lived a continuation of the college lifestyle.
I am now about 238 lbs, so I am about back to the beginning. I feel that the New Year (and first full year post-school), is the perfect time to break out of the college lifestyle. I have some lifestyle goals for this New Year.
*Have homecooked meals for 15/21 meals per week (this means not buying lunch at work)---"Homecooked" also includes low-calorie frozen foods (like chicken from TJs).
*Have two snacks each day (small ones)
*Maintain a nice, well-rounded diet
*Eat about 2000-2500 calories/day maximum
*Lift weights 4 times/week
*Do cardio for 30 minutes 4 times/week
*Drink 120 oz water on non-exercise days, and 135 on exercise days
Unlike last time, I will not keep track of weight daily. I will keep track of it weekly. I will lock my scale in a cabinet for the week, so that I'm not tempted to step on it. I will also not formally keep track of body fat percentage.
I feel like time I failed because:
*I pushed myself too hard (especially with cardio)---I will not push myself as hard this time
*I was too obsessed with numbers
Therefore, in the space below, I will track these lifestyle changes and goals I have set out. I want to make this more about changing my lifestyle than losing weight or reaching some physical goal. I feel that if I change my lifestyle, the physical results will come.
What I ask from all of you, is to offer me honest critique, suggestions, and encourage as I progress.
Thank you, and I'm excited to be rejoining the community.
