Okay, I'm sorry that this is my first post and I'm already complaining, but please hear me out a little.
I was working out last Tuesday and doing something that's equivalent to a one-leg squat. Basically just holding one leg at the ankle and letting the knee down, then squatting with the standing leg and letting the opposite knee touch the floor and coming back up. I did them with my right knee, that went fine-- I tried with my left and as I straightened my leg out-- I heard something crackle. It was more like when I crack my knuckles, that type of a sound, because it was not a snap but just a crackle. I heard it once, and when my leg fully straightened, it happened on the area just above my knee (the first time was just below it). I'm a bit worried because I couldn't walk right away, my leg was giving out and I didn't feel pain, just a large sense of discomfort and even at times a warm sensation. Could someone give me advice on this? I'm not able to get to the doctor's on may 7th and I've just been keeping it elevated when I'm not working and I try to keep ice on it for proper times. Please help! :azzangel:
