hello all i have a major problem. I am in the Army active duty and I am over weight bad. I am 5'11'' and weigh 225 with 30% body fat. My problem is I cannot find time to work out here is what my schedule looks like:

4:30am Wake Up
6:00am Have to be at work (gym opens at 5:30am)
6:00pm Get off work

I need some help on finding time to go to the gym by the time i get home i am so tired.....PLEASE HELP!!

thanks to all

try eating less, that will be 90% of the problem. You can go to the gym all day and every day and not loose weight. Just try starting with making portions smaller, filling up on more veg and eating less potatos and meats (but still make sure you have some potatos and meats)

i work from 8 to 7, 6 days a week ...

what time does the gym close? ...

i dont get to my gym most of the time till after 9:30 at night (luckally it is a 24 hour place) ...

but i will agree on watch what you eat .. that along has made a biggest difference in my weight loss so far i beleive.

Diet is going to be most of your solution.. do keep track of what you are eating - that cmeans weighing and measuring your food and recording it in a food diary - is a great online resource for that... If you know what you're eating - it helps a lot.

What about working out during lunch? how far is the gym from your place of empoyment?

Not enough time is no argument, I work fulltime from 6am to 2pm then go home pickup my 4 kids, tutor them (ok im a barbarian, they dont learn enough at school!) and cook dinner until 6pm-7pm when i usually end up working through evenings doing contract work.

My solution? I got up an hour earlier. It was super hard at first but i ended up getting a good hour workout running or cycling.

:iagree:

I get up an hour earlier in the morning too. I work full time, single mom, yadda yadda. I think what may help is improving your diet. Not just for weight loss, but the better your diet is, the more energy you will have to work out. If you can't do it before work, you can do it after work.
