A sensative issue, mainly for the input of women...

Okay, this really is a personal subject, and I am sorry if this is too much information, but I was wondering if anyone knew any more about it.

I am a 22 year old female (almost 23 YAY!), and I have always had a certain problem with my breasts. One of them is much larger than the other. I know that it is natural for them not to be the same size, but trust me, mine are grossly different. One is a B and the other is a DD. Sometimes I can laugh about it and sometimes it is really tough. It has always been difficult for me to feel sexy or beautiful. I always have to stuff my bra, and have never been able to wear a bra without under-wire. I guess the only good thing is I have never slept around. I don’t know if anyone read the post a while back about reasons your afraid to loose weight, but I have come to realize one of the reasons I am afraid to loose weight is because it doesn’t really matter. I will still have lop-sided breasts, and I won’t be able to wear anything I want to anyway.

BUT, I have heard that when you loose weight a lot of times your breasts are some of the first things to shrink. I was wondering if anyone who has had breasts that are a little off-kilter, haha, and have noticed that they became more even as you lost weight.

This is really embarrassing, but I have tried to be really honest on this board. If for some reason loosing weight doesn’t cause them to get more even one of my rewards for loosing all this weight will be to get the large one reduced. It would just be less expensive and more motivating if I knew it would make some difference to loose weight.

Thanks for your input.

well hun, I can't say for sure, but I don't think that the breasts are the 1st to loose...I lost 30 pds once and I didnt' see any change in size. I dont know, maybe someone else will have more input?

hey hun, the only experience i have had with breast size and weight, is when i gained abotu 20 lbs, my breast size went up a cup-which makes sense. as for the other way around, i don't know-it would make sense that your body would pull off fat from everywhere, so i guess it also has to do with how much weight you want off. Please remember that having a safe BMI is one of the most important things because your health matters-who cares what you look like if you are more susseptible to heart disease! Also, I know it probably is a long stretch to recommend this, but it seems like breast augmentation could be a plausible solution to the problems you are having-but only after you have lost the weight. Now, I am usually not an advocate for plastic surgery--in fact I am usually against it--but in situations where nature has presented you with a problem that you cannot solve yourself-that seems to be the natural course of action. (plus think about it, you'd only have to pay for one!)

Have you ever had a doctor take a look? Anything you feel is unusual about your breasts, it is good to get a doctor's opinion.

Not necessarily that there might be something wrong, but for such a large difference in size, the doctor may be able to recommend a wide variety of possible solutions, everything from medical supply pads to drugs to surgery.

Also, try to make a list of the reasons for you to lose weight, other than looking better. You'll be able to do more, and be healthier too.

When I was a teen... I got severely depressed and lost alot of weight from basically starving myself.
My breasts got a little smaller, BUT I started noticing that my right breast was actually bigger than the left one.
Left is a B small C while the other is a large C-D.
And as I've gained weight back.. the difference has kept up.
So *shrugs*
I'm not sure losing weight will make any difference in your breasts.
If it really bothers you that much, then surgery would be your best bet.
Whatever you do though, just make sure you research and know that it's definitely what you want :)

I've heard that when you lose weight your boobs shrink...I've lost a little bit, I would love to lose a LOT! I've always had annoyingly big boobs. Anyway, maybe you can do some chest exercises to help along the shrinkage.

Good luck and thanks for sharing.

Same boat!

Well I can honestly say that I know what your talkin about. For as long as I can remember now - or maybe just as long as I actually started paying attention to my breasts - they have been uneven. About a good cup size in difference and it makes for a real bitch to find a bra that first em both decent.
I have lost 40lbs and haven't noticed much of a change yet in them evening out. I have another 50lbs to go and somehow don't think that is gonna change it either.
I have said for a long time - and still to this day - that once I lose all the weight and reach my goal that I will be going to get it fixed. I hate it and it makes me feel soo uncomfortable when I have my shirt off. Of course my husband says get the other one made bigger - HECK NO - I have spent how many years trying to make everything on my body shrink - why would I pay to get something made bigger. Thats a typical man for ya.
So with that said - I don't think weight is gonna make a difference - Im just praying that if it does my small one still exists by the time I reach goal. LOL:D
Good Luck

haha! thanks, It feels good to know I'm not alone. Yeah, my husband always says he is happy because he has a 'variety pack', but this is more for me. Well, that is okay if I have to get them fixed. It will still make me feel/look great to loose all my weight. Thanks all for the advice and encouragment.
