A Question on Jeet Kon Do

Hey everyone, I just joined Fitness.com and just love it. And I myself as a Martial Artist just started the very famous art of Jeet Kon Do, and seem to like it and comfortable with the art, and I seem to already have a question. Now, Jeet Kon Do involves allot of leg flexibility, and manuevarability, so what is the best exercise recomended for a more flexible leg here? besides the gym:(
 
Common leg stretches. In ballet, you put your leg on the bar and you bend and spread and touch your toe. Keep doing those types of things. Also, do splits as far as you can go everyday for months and you will see yourself stretched to the max.
 
Thanks tglpgm for the advise here. I wil ldo those exerscises, and I will keep u posted as I progress in my quest to............ stretch to the max.
