A Newbie Here Becoming A New Woman!!

Hey everyone!

I was just browsing fitness forums online and although I am a member of a few different forums, I find this one to be a little more what I am looking for.

So, with that being said...I will introduce myself. My name is Michelle. I am 28 yrs of old and a mother of 2 step sons, 2 daughters and 1 son. Yes, 5 children in all, ages 10,9,8,7 and 8 months.

Before I got pregnant with my last child, I was competing in fitness and figure competitions, but while I was pregnant....I gained alot of weight..I mean ALOT, so right now, I am weighing in at 187lbs....ya...I know!! The day I found out I was pregnant, I weighed 141 or so. However, I am very motivated to get my butt back in shape. I have went and met with my coach this past week and now I am on the road to recovery.

I find fitness forums such as this one, really help keep me motivated and on the straight and narrow. Plus, I would love for you guys to hold me accountable and trust me, I will do the same for you...promise!!!!

Well, my son is crying for a bottle, so I better go for now, but I look forward to getting to know alot of you and wish you all the very best in everything you do.

Its nice to have another serious weight training female with us.
 
Hey welcome to the forum. I hope this forum helps you as much as it has helped me. Btw if that pic of you is what you look like now you look quite attractive. I was just looking at your my space very interesting you look in good shape. When are you next going to compete?

Thanks..It already has helped me alot. I have you guys holding me accountable...ha ha!! I appreciate the compliments, but no, those pics of me are from June of 2005. I look terrible right now. Well, hold on, I will post a recent pic of me and you can see for yourself, just how much I have let myself fall apart while I was pregnant.

Right now, I am planning on competing around Feb-March of 2007. Wish me luck!!

Welcome to the forum. You might want to post a journal/diary so that you (and we) can keep track of your progress. Include goals, workouts and nutrition and then go from there.

I am new to this forum as well. In fact this is my first time on any fitness forum. I looked at your myspace profile and I think you look amazing and I think you are going to have no problem getting back into your fitness mode. I started working out seriously the beginning of this year and am hoping to keep working on it. I would love your feedback and input when I put up my workout schedule. I am open to suggestions and comments.. anything to help me get going.
