hello wlf, this is my first time posting. i was actually reviewing this website before i decided to register. i think this is a positive place to be. im am 29 yrs old and a mother of 2. my youngest child is a few months shy of 3 so losing weight has been in my head for almost 3 yrs. off and on i have been trying- the most i have lost was 20 lbs and as quick as i was able to shead them they returned. this time im willing to make a life changing decision i really want to loose weight and become that person that i know i really am. my goal weight is to be at least 160 lbs i am currently 219 lbs. over the last 2 weeks i have lost 4 lbs and i am determined to loose the rest. thanks for reading! :newbie:

Welcome to the forum. I'm 30 and weight around the same as you. I face the same struggle I lose weight and then put it back on.

You should start a diary. It's a great took on this forum..You put on it what your eating what excerise your doing how your feeling and people read and leave comments and advice on what you can change or what you could try etc etc

i appreciate the support, im a little lost when it comes to navigating through this website. i see all sorts of pics and "weightlosttrackers" like the one you have on your post, :) hopefully i get the hang of this so i can use this website as a tool. the diary idea sounds great, how would i start one?

There is a little orange box that says "New Thread." Just click on that and start typing away!

To get a weight loss tracker just click on mine on my signature and then it takes you to a website so you can customise and choose your own. Then you put in your stats etc and then copy and paste the code into your signature in your profile and that's you.

Yay for being 4lbs. down!!

Support is such a key part of losing weight. Without this page it would be much easier for me to fall off track, and I hope it has the same effect on you!
