update
I'm at 321lbs now and I've lost a total of 69lbs. I started almost exactly five months ago on April 6th. I can't wait to get below 300 and it seems so close now. I haven't been below 300 since my freshman year of high school and that was 13 years ago.
In other news, I've been commuting to work by foot for the last three and a half weeks and it is actually great (about 3 miles round trip). I'm eating about 1700 calories per day and burning about 400 calories in exercise per day. If my body wasn't fighting me that would be almost 4 pounds lost per week, in reality I'm losing just over 3 pounds per week. I'd suspect it was bad calorie counting but, I pay so much attention to my calorie intake that it seems more likely that my body is just reducing its daily needs/becoming more efficient in order to resist further weight loss by around 15%.
